Mixing rules

Faster modules in slower platforms clock down — safe, but you pay for unused speed.
Mixed speeds in one system run at the slowest common speed.
Never mix RDIMM and LRDIMM.
Populate channels evenly; check per-CPU rules (6-channel on 1st/2nd Gen Scalable, 8-channel on 3rd Gen and EPYC).
